I've got dark wood floors in my kitchen and they look great.

My kitchen isn't very large but is more of a square compared to yours and

doesn't have an island or pennisula like yours. One suggestion I would

make to you is to declutter the room; the items on the left wall close the

or art on the fridge.

Dark is not the right thing here. I think you should reconsider

it. I've found a link for you where you would be able to find details

Looking at your kitchen, I'd go with new stainless steel
NuNu
appliances and then have a light colored wooden floor. Keep the white

cabinetry. This will look great together and lift your kitchen to make it

I would not put dark wood floor in, they would make the room

seem smaller. There are lighter shades that would look nice though, like

an oak color. But I think that any wood floors would look odd with the

Both are wet environments which the laminate flooring can not hold up to.

I think the stainless steel appliances look fine in the kitchen the way it
is.

White and stainless steel look great together, lighter floors

do make any room look larger, however in the kitchen it will show dirty

spots more pronounced. I like light floors.

LUCKY FORTUNE , Thursday, 12th of August 2010 07:14:25 AM

I love hard wood floors in a kitchen but I think that a dark

floor would make the cabinets look awkward. If your gonna do get Pergo,

it would look as good as real wood and leave you enough money that if you

With a small kitchen, you would want to make it seem open and

friendly, not dark or cramped.
